Port Lauragais to Toulouse April 2009

Our plans were to paint  NUSER.

Rain, rain and hail destroyed our plans

3 days without rain was enough to to grind and lacquer the mast
We have almost forgot how NUSER looks without fenders.
The spirit of France?
Rain and hail can not stop the spring

The last evening in Port Lauragais. Mona and Frits have arrived - this is the proof that they got some sun.
Toulouse one of the parks very close to the port

It is not often that the Town Hall square is empty like this.
Next to the Train station we have to pass a 6 meter deep lock.
Due to the rain we had this "water fall"
Now Canal de Garonne is a head of us.

On Canal de Garonne on the way to Moissac

The first village - Montech - we found a mooring place after a long day
Just oppersite the port you find the church yard.
A cheap offer for renovation?
Next stop was Castelsarrasin.

Once a week there is a big open air market.

Perhaps these chickens will end up like the hens

It is not nice to see how the animals are treated

The fresh fish market
It is time to buy the summer hat
What a driver J

Strawberries
Just before Moissac you are crossing the Garonne River

We reached Moissac and this was worth a celebration.

It is serious to drink champagne and eat oysters
