Toulouse to Narbonne  - September 2009
 
 

 

Castelnaudary - Canal du Midi

Artificial lake - founded around year 1670 when the canal was build

 

 
Some of the buildings haven't been repaired since that.

The bakers shop is closed- instead you have to do your shopping .....
...here  the Petrol station with a little Supermarket

Le Somail - a beautiful little village - without facilities for private boats
 
 

 

Narbonne

Friends from Denmark paid us a vistit on their way to Spain

Wedding in front of the Town hall- the just married couple (back to us) want to have a good photo of all the guests
Narbonne has got one famous "child"

Charles Trénet - (the one with the song "La Mer")

There is now a museum in his birthplace


Unfortunately they could not afford to show his legs J
